Afrofuturism isn't just the stuff of sci-fi epics and galactic visions

— it lives in the everyday.

Join us for the next gathering in our Road to Negritude series: Afrofuturism, Freedom Dreaming, and Collective Action. This evening will explore how Black imaginations shape liberation not only in the future but in the here and now.

Who Should Attend:

Artists, writers, and freedom dreamers

Afrofuturists of all kinds

Anyone interested in Black imagination, speculative storytelling, and collective liberation

We’ll explore:

The power of mundane Afrofuturism
The role of freedom dreaming in movement work
How identity, art, and futurism intersect

Artists will also be invited to create and share work inspired by the evening — some of which will be featured at Negritude Fest.
